System Overview

The platform is designed as a scalable microservice ecosystem with real-time scenarios and IoT infrastructure support.

Backend architecture

The server part is built on NestJS with a module microservice architecture.  

For scalability and fault tolerance, interaction is implemented through a message broker (RabbitMQ).

Data layer

A hybrid storage model is used:

  • PostgreSQL for transactional data.
  • Redis for caching, real-time data, and chats.

Frontend architecture

Residents’ apps are built on React Native with a single codebase for iOS and Android.

The admin panel is built using Next.js + AdminJS.

Infrastructure & scalability

The app infrastructure allows for step-by-step legacy parts modernization without the need for a system shutdown. New features are introduced as independent modules and microservices.

UX is built around the idea of “single ecosystem experience”. The user has to decide most of the routine tasks in one app.   

Key principles:

  • quick access to common functions;
  • transparency of application statuses;
  • unified visual style across web and mobile.

Particular attention was paid to the convenience of real-time scenarios: the management company communication, live updates, and IoT functions integrations.
