Task from the Client

We were asked to create the platform based on the top-class banking payment service from one of the leading US companies in fintech. Together with the client’s CEO, project manager, and team lead, our development team focused on the diversity of individual health insurance plans with different benefits for corporates, stricter control over the payment of premiums, and automation of payment cycles, ensuring the security of the big amount of data.

Challenges We and Client Faced With

As soon as we had to develop web platform together with client managers, we had to struggle with in-team communication and client’s requirements.

  • Avoiding a Git flow approach
  • Client review of tasks takes a long time
  • Non-consistent distribution of tasks (e.g., backend on customer side, frontend on our side)
  • An enormous amount of companies and employees private data
  • Many repeated procedures

Functions We Implemented

Premium Funding Processing

The main purpose of the system is to provide insurance benefits to staff members. We have implemented a variety of individual health insurance plans with various benefits for the most convenient customization of payments. The system also allows transferring all insurance premiums from the employer’s bank account to the bank accounts of all employees to speed up the process in large companies.

Inbox Panel

For the greatest convenience, we have created a centralized place to interact with users. It includes management of incoming insurance requests and notifications, ability to control health insurance payment received from the employer and transfer to the insurance fund for the employee. With it, companies can provide themselves with a tighter control over the payment of insurance premiums, the payment cycle makes premium financing and payments automatic, hassle-free after quick, one-time setup.

Multi-Step Authorization

To provide more security, we implemented user authorization in the system using a stepper. This allows to verify the identity of a system user several times through the different sides.

File Manager

As a huge amount of company and employee files pass through the system, we have created a tool for managing users' files and documents.

Docusign for fast and convenient signing of contracts, agreements, and other important documents in digital format, avoiding the need to print, scan and physically deliver documents.

Pardot, which helps to increase the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, improve quality of pages and increase sales.

Accelerated payment processing system through Passport Priority for quick and convenient insurance payments based on social circumstances and priorities.

Received Feedback from the Client

“We’ve made contracts with this application, and we’ll likely continue working with Celadon on it. Right now, we’re customizing pages that allow clients to provide the service to their insurees. Before the platform can be deployed, we have various questions to answer. The systems of the companies we’re targeting have to comply with specific laws. We received stats on other apps from our marketers before the build began, but ours haven’t received concrete statistics yet. I believe it is performing well.”
